Adrea Rubin started her career in 1974 as the Direct Mail Marketing Association’s Insurance Council administrator.  In 1975, Colonial Penn Insurance Company recruited Ms. Rubin to exclusively oversee data acquisition for AARP’s multiple insurance products.   In 1976, she opened Direct Media’s New York City branch office, where she was named Salesperson of the Year from 1985 to 1988, and became the first female member of the board of directors and one of the original shareholders.

Adrea Rubin Marketing was established in 1990 in New York City.  The company has grown to include offices in Albany, Boston, Bridgeport, Little Rock, and San Antonio.  As a customer insight agency, Adrea Rubin Marketing employs integrated omni-channel marketing strategies to help its clients acquire, retain and reactivate customers.  The firm’s services include online and offline data procurement, lead generation, competitive insights, custom modeling and analytics, creative messaging, and consultation supported by solid strategic solutions to drive business growth.  Ms. Rubin is instrumental in leading the firm’s product offerings and strategic direction.

For nearly four decades, Ms. Rubin has advised over 40 life, health, and property & casualty insurers on how to increase customer engagement.  An acknowledged expert in insurance direct marketing, she has a thorough knowledge of the full spectrum of insurance products including Supplemental and Primary Health insurance, Individual and Group/Affinity products, and Low- and High-benefit Level products.  She has also established the firm’s credentials in the financial services, senior/boomer, retail, and health verticals, with an emphasis on banking products and consumer credit.  She has had the privilege of advising many important brands such as Mutual of Omaha, Citicorp, Colonial Penn, JPMorganChase, New York Life, Physicians Mutual, and Fingerhut.  The average tenure of the firm’s clients is in excess of 20 years.

Ms Rubin has been an avid supporter of the DMEF mission and has served on committees for the Rising Stars’ and Annual Awards’ events for six years   She is a long-standing member of the Direct Marketing Association, and was named List Leader of the Year in 2009.  She also received the prestigious Silver Apple Award, honoring her 25-year tenure and commitment to excellence, from the Direct Marketing Club of New York in 2011.  She has served as the International ECHO Awards finalist judge for insurance/financial services since 2009.  The Women’s Business Enterprise Council has certified Adrea Rubin Marketing, Inc. as a national diversity vendor for the past three years.

Ms. Rubin is an active member in numerous insurance and marketing trade associations, serving on the DMA’s List Leaders Board of Directors for five years and as the Chairperson for the 2009 Fast Forward program.  She is a speaker and panelist at several marketing/insurance industry events and has written for numerous industry publications.  She is a graduate of Tufts University.
