Adrea J. Rubin-Chief Executive Officer
With over 38 years of experience, Adrea Rubin is the acknowledged expert in insurance/financial services customer acquisition in the direct marketing industry. She started her career in 1974 as the Direct Mail Marketing Association’s Insurance Council administrator. In 1975, Colonial Penn Insurance Company recruited Adrea to learn insurance direct marketing and handle the data acquisition for AARP’s multiple insurance products. In 1976, she opened Direct Media’s New York City branch office. She was named Salesperson of the Year from 1985 to 1988, and became the first female member of the board of directors, and the original, sole female shareholder of Direct Media. Adrea opened Adrea Rubin Marketing in 1990 and Adrea Rubin Media in 1992. Adrea was awarded List Leader of the Year by the DMA in 2009 and the Direct Marketing Club of New York’s Silver Apple Award in 2011. A frequent speaker at industry events and writer for many industry publications, Adrea is a passionate supporter of many organizations such as the Direct Marketing Association; Direct Marketing Education Foundation; the DMA’s International ECHO Awards as the Insurance Finalist Judge since 2009; Women’s Presidents Organization (WPO); and the Direct Marketing Information Exchange to name a few. Adrea is a graduate of Tufts University.×
Oscar-Chief Bark OfficerOscar joined Adrea Rubin Marketing in 2010. As Chief Bark Officer, he is a spokes dog for animals around the world. His main responsibilities include educating pet owners on the benefits of Pet Insurance. Oscar has created multiple clubs on Twitter for every stage of an Animal’s life. With more than 5,000 Followers, Oscar is considered an authority on all things four footed. He is a graduate from Canine University with a BA in Barkology. He is a Professor Emeritus of Boneology. Danielle Macchia-Chief Customer Officer
Danielle Macchia joined Adrea Rubin Marketing in 2019. With more than 20 years’ experience in domestic consumer and business direct marketing management, she joins Adrea Rubin Marketing in the newly created role of Chief Customer Officer. Danielle is responsible for revenue growth and ensuring that our multi-channel marketing solutions surpass clients’ needs and expectations. Over the course of her career, her efforts helped generate more than $75 million in revenue on behalf of key global brands. Danielle’s extensive background in developing innovative marketing strategies has been the hallmark of her success. As one of Adrea Rubin Marketing’s client-facing experts, she will develop unique solutions driving revenue and improving the bottom line for our new and enterprise clients.
Previously, Danielle worked at a digital company marketing a retargeting solution as the Senior Vice President of Client Services. Her financial services background includes AIG where she managed and developed a 25-million-dollar book of business. She is a graduate of Saint Peter’s College where she studied Marketing and Business Management.×
Lisa Pollack-VP, Marketing Strategy
Since joining Adrea Rubin Marketing in 1993 Lisa has worked on customer acquisition and retention campaigns utilizing direct mail, outbound telemarketing, and email channels. Lisa’s core responsibilities also include the oversight of custom modeling and analytics as well as Competitive Intelligence Insights and lead generation. Lisa is well versed in Insurance, Credit, Continuity programs, and catalogs. In 1999, Lisa received the Ron Davis Young Professionals Award from the Direct Marketing Association. The award recipients are nominated by their peers and honors the individual’s contributions to the list and data industry. As Vice President of Marketing Strategy, Lisa works closely with the firm’s clients to develop direct marketing campaigns in a multi-channel environment, as well as overseeing a team of Account Executives and Managers. Lisa is a graduate of Indiana University.×
Jennifer Vilkelis-Chief Financial Officer
Jennifer joined Adrea Rubin Marketing, Inc. in 1997. Together with her dedicated and knowledgeable accounting team they provide nearly 50 years of direct marketing accounting experience. Their goal is exemplary customer service, expediency and accountability. Jennifer graduated with a BA Degree in Accounting from Oswego State University in 1991, and has earned a Certificate in Human Resources from NYU’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies. She is an active Member of the Society of Human Resource Management and works to promote the Adrea Rubin Marketing, Inc. certification as a National Women’s Owned Business Enterprise.×
Mike Bryant-Vice President
Mike began his marketing career as a TV and space media buyer and then moved on to several years as a print and production manager for a leading magazine. This combination of marketing and production experience became a perfect progression to the direct response industry. Mike owned and operated Uni-Mail, a specialist response agency for data, insert media, and e-mail before joining Adrea Rubin Marketing in September 2001. Since then, Mike’s knowledge and experience have been critical within the Insurance vertical. He has built and managed several of Adrea Rubin Marketing’s most successful campaigns and relationships.×
Alan Zamchick-Director of Data Sales
Alan’s direct marketing education began as a mailer in 1978. As assistant to the Advertising Director at Unity Buying Service, he was responsible for ordering and indexing the results of up to 136 million mailed direct mail pieces annually across Unity’s seven direct mail subsidiaries. In 1981 he was hired by CBS Publications to head their list management operation, a position he retained for the next 26 years through numerous corporate management changes, ending as Hachette Filipacchi. In 2009, Alan successfully launched the EnVision database in the List Management division of Media Horizons.×
Robert Moore-Director of Technology
With over 20 years of knowledge and experience in technology, Robert Moore joined Adrea Rubin Marketing in 2001 as the Director of Technology. Robert built an Adrea Rubin Marketing local and remote network with a solid platform which provides a reliable, secure and safe IT environment. Robert was instrumental in the successful development and implementation of Adrea Rubin Marketing’s Business Continuity Plan. In addition to networking, he is experienced in web development and maintenance and designing lead generation and social media platforms.×
