Happy Holidays – from Santa (and Adrea Rubin)

santa1I have never written a blog before because where I live I am very busy making toys year round. This has been a difficult year for me and all my elves. We have watched the world experience much sadness and destruction, from Hurricane Sandy and senseless shootings of innocent children.  It is my chance to spread happiness to lighten heavy hearts.

I have asked a friend of mine to help me on my long journey. She is a direct marketer who at times has been very naughty. Rumor has it she is very nice too.  We met on our travels in France where we spotted Adrea at a Christmas Market with one of my many look-alikes. My nine reindeer really like her and she fed them French chocolates throughout our trip.  Adrea happily agreed to help wrap and deliver presents to all marketers and their families who have supported the US post Office by writing reindeer3letters or emails to me.  Did you know that the first letter I received was in 1912 from New York City? While I try to personally answer every letter I receive at my home in the North Pole, I do recruit help. Operation Santa has charitable organizations, large corporations, local businesses, and individuals like Adrea from all over the world who hope to make children and their parents dreams come true.

It is almost time for me to go from house to house in my sleigh leaving presents for deserving children everywhere. Rudolph, Adrea’s personal favorite reindeer and the “most famous of all”, has agreed to make a stop in New York to take her home. She is excited about the promise of a New Year.

My work is almost done. All that is left is my magical trip delivering the miracle of the Christmas Season.

Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year to all,
